Page And Layout Production Production File

Page And Layout Production File I was asked to create a promotional video for my client (Clive Brooks), to go out to take interviews to explain the NHS bursary cuts. As I was doing the promotional video out of our group I am not able to write about any text processing. The NHS currently gives out  £4,500 to £5,500 of bursary cuts to its students working in nursing however it has been recently announced that in September 2017 a new funding system will be implemented which means the students will be charged for the course instead of getting the bursary money. This has raised a big question around that this was a very poor decision to be made. Which is why I have been asked to go out and collect data to show what people think about this situation, a way I did this was through vox pops. When looking at stock footage the prices range between £30-£200 depending on quality of the video for example "shutter stock" a well-known stock video website sells SD clips for £34 and HD

Understanding structure and ownership in the creative media sector  I am structuring film companies such as Universal which is owned by Comcast which is a mass media company and is the largest broadcasting and TV company in the world by revenue,Universal is a huge film conglomerate that has a value at $30 billion, (A conglomerate is a large company that hold other smaller chains of companies), with films like Jurassic World making just over $600 million and a series of other movies making over $300 million total gross. Here shows the top 10 highest grossed movies that Universal has produced... 1 Jurassic World Uni. $652,270,625 4,291 $208,806,270 4,274 6/12/15 2 Despicable Me 2 Uni. $368,061,265 4,003 $83,517,315 3,997 7/3/13 3 The Secret Life of Pets Uni. $365,453,515 4,381 $104,352,905 4,370 7/8/16 4 E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial Uni. $359,197,037 1,778 $11,835,389 1,103 6/11/82 5 Jurassic Park Uni. $357,067,947 2,566 $47,026,828 2,404 6/11/93 6 Furious 7 Uni. $353,007,020

Communication Skills for the Media sector

TV Shows PROTOTYPE VERSION (NOT PROOF READ): 8 out of 10 cats is a comedic late night TV show that hosts Jimmy Carr as the presenter of the show, this show is a quiz type TV show where 2 famous celebrities will be split between two panels with a two of the recurring comedians each week (Sean Lock and Jon Richardson), in this show the contestants have to fill the top 5 most talked about things that have been in the news recently the idea is they will talk about one of the recent events and make fun of the event and try to get comedy laughs out of it, 8 out of 10 cats is partially scripted to get the comedians and celebrities to talk about certain events some of the jokes are also scripted however quite a few of them are improvised by the comeians themselves the main idea of the program is for comedy purposes not the quiz side as on the standard show of "8 out of 10 cats" you can not join in with guessing any answers with the contestants due to how the quiz show works this

Animation Assignment 1

Persistence of vision Persistence of vision is the term given when a series of single discrete images are taken together when they are played at a certain speed (frame rate) they give the illusion of movement. the speed is measured in frames per second the lowest average frame rate is 12 frames per second if the frame rate is lower than this then the clip will appear less smooth and will look more like single images than a moving video, the professional English frame rate for stop frame animation is 24 frames per second whilst the American professional frame rate is 29.97 frames per second, this higher the frame rate the smoother and more fluent the clip will be however it does shorten the duration of the clip as it is sped up more. an example of persistence of vision is Eadweard Muybridge's moving horse this is not actually a video but is a series of images sped up to make it look like a video. here is the video of the animation. Pre-Production Assignment 1

How You Plan Your Short filming Step 1 So to begin with you need to decide whether your filming a movie, a TV show, or just a standard video, as this is very important as it effects the type of things you will have to consider to make your recording. if you were to choose a movie or a TV show the main thing you'd need to consider is your budget making either of these is definitely not cheap so your need to make sure you have the money to create them and to keep the budget as low as possible as it is your first short. Another thing that the choice of production affects is the way that it is filmed a standard video would just be more likely a single camera with only a few people starring in it the budget would mainly be quite low and the camera wouldn't need a cinematic look and not much editing also a script would most likely not be used. with a short movie it will be expensive and you need to create a script for it and think about camera angles and so on.
